Terms of Service
The agreement between your congregation and FaithfullyLearn — in language a human can actually read.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FaithfullyLearn (the "Service"), operated by Leffel Consulting LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of the Service
FaithfullyLearn is a streaming Bible-study platform for congregations. The Service provides:
- A shared catalog of video Bible-study series, each reviewed before listing
- Study guides, discussion questions, and per-member progress tracking
- A private channel where a subscribing congregation may publish its own content
- Tools for assigning series to classes and groups and issuing completion certificates
- Optional integration with the FaithfullyGiving church platform
3. Accounts and Congregations
The Service is sold to congregations and similar organizations ("Churches"). Individual accounts belong to members of a subscribing Church and receive access through that Church's subscription. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
A Church's designated administrators manage its membership and may add or remove member accounts.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Plans
The Service is offered as a monthly Church-level subscription: a standalone plan, or a discounted add-on to an active FaithfullyGiving subscription. Current pricing is published at faithfullylearning.com/pricing. All members of a subscribing Church are covered; there are no per-member fees.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance each month to the Church's payment method on file. The Church authorizes us to charge that method for all fees incurred.
4.3 Cancellation
A Church may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Content the Church published to its own channel remains the Church's property.
5. Church Content and the Shared Catalog
5.1 Ownership
Churches retain ownership of the content they create and publish on the Service. By publishing content to its private channel, a Church grants us the license necessary to host, transmit, and display that content to the Church's own members through the Service.
5.2 Shared Catalog License
Submitting a series to the shared catalog is optional. By submitting, the Church represents that it owns or has sufficient rights in the content (including any music, images, and quoted material), and — effective upon our approval of the submission — grants Leffel Consulting LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, reproduce as needed for delivery, and stream the approved copy of that series to subscribing Churches through the Service, with attribution to the submitting congregation. Shared series are provided to the network without payment to the submitting Church.
5.3 Withdrawal
A Church may request removal of its approved series from the shared catalog at any time by contacting us; we will remove it from the catalog within a commercially reasonable period. Removal does not affect the Church's own channel.
5.4 Review and Listing
All catalog submissions are reviewed before listing, and we may approve, decline, or later remove any submission at our sole discretion, including for doctrinal-review reasons. Declined submissions are returned with reviewer notes. Approval creates a fixed copy of the series for the catalog; later edits by the Church require a new submission.
5.5 Content Standards
All content published on the Service must be lawful, must not infringe any intellectual-property or privacy right, must not contain hateful or harmful material, and must be suitable for congregational use. Content presented for the kids area must be appropriate for children.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share accounts or provide Service access to persons outside your congregation
- Download, re-host, redistribute, or publicly perform catalog content outside the Service, except for in-person congregational settings such as Bible classes
- Circumvent access controls or interfere with the operation of the Service
- Use the Service to transmit unlawful, infringing, or malicious material
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is the property of Leffel Consulting LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights in the Service or its content are transferred to you.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms. Upon termination of a Church's subscription, member access ends, and the Church may request an export of its own channel content within 30 days.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. While every shared-catalog series is reviewed before listing, we do not warrant that any content is free of error, and responsibility for what a congregation teaches remains with its leadership.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leffel Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amounts paid by the Church for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribing Churches, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Leffel Consulting LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Contact
